witchkittie This feels like it should be a soundtrack to a classic slasher film. A horrifically wonderful album. Favorite track: Hard Rock Summer.

Gateway 01:36
Every town has its secrets. Some secrets die and become myths, some myths disappear like a leaf in the wind, unnoticed. It has been many years... Welcome to the nightmare, everything is about to change.
2.
Beach City was a holiday paradise, resting directly on the coast between Oregon and California. It's Summer time and Summer is good for business. Camping, beaches, sunset drives, drugs and alcohol... What could go wrong?
3.
They shouldn't have gone out to the old lighthouse after dark, everybody knows the stories... A reclusive old man, shadowed by secrets, lurking, waiting for another reason to kill... Some say he was a fisherman, retired and withering, bitter from a life of labor and hardship. Some say he was a janitor, moved to Beach City after a great tragedy two towns over... But that's just a myth...
4.
Fear 05:31
They found three bodies stacked in a bloody pile, burning with bubbling skin. The black smoke rising like a beacon of death signaling that the terror had just begun.
5.
Boundless 05:03
Caitlynne was never one to fear death. To her, death seemed distant and avoidable, something you could prepare for, like an approaching thunderstorm. She was twenty four and had calculated, roughly three years prior, that she would live comfortably into her sixties, if she played her cards right. Today, Caitlynne felt different. Her legs were heavy, and she felt as if a pair of needle covered hands had been gripping her stomach with white knuckle strength, piercing delicate tissue and pulling her hopelessly to the ground. Today Caitlynne felt fear. Her best friend had been murdered, the body was found burning at the center of town.
6.
Hysteria reigns. Bad things don't happen in Beach City. Old people retire and die, highschoolers vandalize as they do, but BAD things don't happen in Beach City. Caitlynne was going to find who had murdered her friend. The old lighthouse beckoned with its shining revolving light. Anger is a powerful tool to those who seldom use it...
7.
Water drips and echoes, the smell of sea and rot permeates all around. How had she gotten here? Where was here? A chainsaw chokes and sputters into life just inches from Caitlynne's strung up body. She shuts her eyes. Screams of pain are accompanied by the sound of grinding meat and bone. The screaming subsides, and she opens her eyes revealing an old man soaked in blood towering over the remains of another unfortunate victim. His attention shifts now to Caitlynne and begins walking briskly in her direction, chainsaw revving. Her heart pounds painfully in her head, a sour reminder of gravity's curse. Vision blurs. Black. More screams now, the man lays on the ground in what appears to be his own blood. Her ankles now loose from their binds, she begins to run.
8.
False Hope 03:01
Caitlynne was found at the end of the pier, blood covered and hysteric. "He's still ALIVE!" she screamed, before collapsing into the arms of a beach jogger. Police had found the cave, eleven bodies butchered beyond recognition, shackles, rope, and a peculiar candle lit shrine. Some say the shrine illuminated a large cat drawn in blood...
9.
Hospitals were probably Caitlynne's least favourite place to spend time. The smell gave her headaches and the food reminded her of old people. She had spent two days bed ridden. Her mother and grandparents had visited twice. After a psychiatric evaluation in the morning she would be free to go. Little did Caitlynne know that this would be her final night in the hospital and that she had one more visitor returning to finish what he had started...
10.
Bloody and broken, Caitlynne crawls down the dark, empty hospital hallway. Screaming and writhing she curses at the freshly decapitated police officer who was supposed to be on watch, "Useless PIG!!!" Footsteps follow closely behind, the sound of an axe scraping across the vinyl tile floor sends a shiver down Caitlynne's now broken spine. Grabbing at the waist of the dead officer ferociously, her fingers clutch the holster and a pistol slides out effortlessly. She turns around and without a second to spare, "FUCK YOU CUNT!" Six shots, four in the chest, two in the head. For Caitlynne, death is not an option.
11.
Bury 04:14
Bury your emotions, bury your demons, bury the psychopath who tried to turn you into a pile of meat. Caitlynne watched the shovel spike into the ground. The killer is buried and the killing is over...for now.
12.
Caitlynne moved away from Beach City, up north along the west coast of Canada. Canada seemed safe and peaceful, a place where she could live out the rest of her days (into her seventies, she calculated). The danger was gone but the horrid memories would stay with her. After all, terror is forever.
